Basically what it allows you to do is create optimized wordpress sites in an authority style manner, with all the marketing you’d need directly integrated. Authority Pro Review.

- The theme (will be more themes powered by it in the future) has 23 custom positions built in which you can place widgets or hook into them in your functions file (like thesis) if you can code. Authority Pro Review.
* The advanced placement optin – can be set to display on one category (from a dropdown list), multiple categories by id, only displayed on the home page, only displayed on single posts, restricted from displaying on pages, displayed site wide. You can choose to display one of up to 4 of your custom optin forms, or split testing between all of them (no one visitor will see a different optin – set by cookies)
* Clickbank TextAds – widget which allows you to create text ads for clickbank from the wp admin. Has all the targeted placement options mentioned above. automatically takes your post id and uses it as a tracking id if you dont define one, automatically takes your meta keywords, if none, then takes your tags, if none, then takes your sites main seo keyword to use as targeting keywords for displaying relevant ads. Allows you to choose to display affiliate links, star ratings, both or neither, edit the widget title size as well as the size of the item titles.

* Twitter widget – simple widget where you put in your twitter username and choose how many of your latest tweets to display.
* Google Adsense Widget – has all the targeted placement options as the others – put in pub id and ad slot id, width, height and it displays adsense ads according to your setting.
* Related profiles widget – AP allows you to create 7 different types of posts or media. Two of those are profiles (a review about a person/company, etc) and product reviews. This widget allows you to display a list of profiles that are related to the current profiles (ie. marketers who associate or worked together) or a list of profiles related the current product review (a review of comm ritual, and your profile would be shown as related) – all this to accomplish a well-structured, highly relevant and inner link optimized site (sort of siloing on steroids). * Related reviews widget – does the same as the rel profile widget except it displays a list of reviews related to the current post (if any).
* Social Media Links widget – Authority Pro Review. allows you to choose a custom position to display the social media link integrated into profiles and reviews. These create links to the persons, facebook, twitter, and linkedin accounts.
* Rating stars widget – allows custom positioning of the rating stars which can appear on media types: reviews, profiles, and downloads. Authority Pro Review.
These are the widget I have coded for now, and all of that hardly begins to scratch the surface of what AP can do. It literally can transform your blog into a powerful, monetized, and seo optimized authority site.

AP adds custom boxes to the post editor (dependant on media type) which allows you to add videos (lightbox/embed), targeted feeds, star ratings, social media links, allows you to create affiliate links with your own domain, on the fly from within the post editor screen, and also check a box to enable auto linking a particular keyword to your affiliate link. The affiliate link defined is also used in the widget displays (the “visit website now”) for any kind of content.
You can also add custom seo meta details to each post and will display a preview of your serp result just underneath…Add a “tool launcher” image with pre-built in CTA buttons like “download now”, “visit website”, “launch tool”, “watch video”, etc etc… Authority Pro Review.
Also a box to allow you to add a youtube gallery of up to 3 youtube videos at the bottom of each post.
Media Types:
As I mentioned there are 7 types of “media” you can create:
- Normal content post – reserves all the normal wordpress options (same as default wordpress) Authority Pro Review.
- Videos – allows you to create a post with a featured video and/or youtube gallery
- Downloads – Allows you to create a download type post which can be used a simple affiliate mechanism (redirect to the “download” with your aff link) or as an actual download of a file from your site. Authority Pro Review.
- Resource post – allows for the addition of a slide down panel which contains a resource, for example someone can log in and use their google analytics account from your site. This was original coded for a membership site i’m working on, but figured I’d throw the functionality in there as well. These are more for just filling your blog out with different resources (ie, your blogs about backlinking – then add yahoo explorer, backlinks watch, or any of the number of backlink tools available online. Authority Pro Review. Here i used to have goog analytics, but now I changed the resource to test something, here i’m just loading up an affiliate link in the slide panel. You can see you can even associate the video media from the post to the resource (by checking a box) allowing the person to follow a video and use the resource at the same time. Authority Pro Review.
- Profile – as mentioned before these allow you to create review type post for people, companies, or websites, assign custom star ratings, affiliate links, and associate with other content on your blog with the widget.
- News items – (underdeveloped at the mom) – will be more of a news style resource post, where its just a matter of throwing together different news type resources, writing a couple paragraphs and then have an automatically updating post (by use of feeds and other things) revolving around a specific topic.
- Custom Multimedia – allows you to use any combination of the features associated with each media type to create a custom type of post of your own (with no restrictions).
And still that’s not all… I still haven’t even got to the fact that you create squeeze pages by filling in a couple fields, easily integrate GWO for split testing, and conversions… Create custom conversion funnels which can then be split test as well – and ultra – targeted using the advanced placement options.
So for example, you have a blog about IM, on all categories about seo you are split testing two different funnels (optin, conversion, sales letter, conversion, etc) and within each of those two funnel you can split test an unlimited number of elements (like squeeze pages)… and you can target this campaign to SEO … so for example if the visitor instead comes into your blog on an aff marketing related topic, you can have yet another funnels for directly targeting them… Authority Pro Review.
